Indonesian National Parks



National Park is a nature conservation area which has a native ecosystem, managed by the zoning system is utilized for the purpose of research, science, education, support aquaculture, tourism, and recreation (Article 1, point 14 of Act No. 5 of 1990).

Conservation Areas are areas with certain characteristics, both on land and in waters that have a protective function of life support systems, the preservation of the diversity of plants and animals, as well as the sustainable use of natural resources and ecosystems (Article 1, point 13 of Act No. 5 of 1990).
